THE “PREGLED” JOURNAL AGENDA IN 2009

Three issues of the journal will be published, as well as an issue in English. Pregled promotes scientific endeavor in the field of social science and humanities and is characterized by a critical and theoretical approach to the topics of contemporary social, economic and political processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, region and the world.
The journal offers the scientific, literal, cultural, social and economic public an opportunity to present cultural and historic currents and contradictions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Europe.

In that context, Pregled is a journal which cultivates a critical-theoretical approach to themes in the field of social development and which monitors and stimulates research, especially that related to integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the European Union.

The new editorial board is attempting to realize the project of acquiring the rank of an indexed journal. In that sense, during 2006 and 2007, copies of the journal were sent for evaluation to the Thomson Reuters (Scientific) Ltd databases in the United States. A positive answer is expected later in the year.

A procedure has also been initiated for acquiring a referential status at the EBSCO database.
